So apparently I'm really bad about keeping all my web platforms up to date...

I have been neglecting my blog...
It's just one of those things that got put on the back burner while I was doing "all the things".  So I will now attempt to catch you up on all the wondrous images I've been pumping out over the last 3 months (!), in convenient 5-6 image chunks over the next few weeks. Also, I have been posting all along on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/The-delightist-374865392897131/) and on Instagram @zendances.  So if you want the latest as soon as it drops, these are the places to go.
In other exciting news,by request, I am now on Redbubble, a fabulous and high quality print on demand site. Check out my page:https://www.redbubble.com/people/Thedelightist/portfolio?asc=u. So, many of my designs can now be emblazoned on prints, cards, bags, phone cases, mini-skirts (!), t-shirts etc.

When In Doubt, Zoom Out...

Inspired by the fabulous movie "Moana".

Reggie's got some solid advice for us.

I posted this on the "pink" full moon that we had on April 10th.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Connect. Breathe. Repeat.

Did you know.....even when you don't feel connected, you're still connected.

Back to the basics.

Who doesn't love hummingbirds? They're so magical! True story; a few years ago I found that a hummingbird had flown into my studio and could not figure out how to get back outside. I quickly glanced around, trying to find some sort of a tool to help guide the poor thing out as she frantically zoomed about. The best thing I could find in my studio was an adorable, funky, bright orange and pink magic wand made by a 6 year old that I had purchased at a street fair. I held out my wand and gently coaxed the hummingbird to perch upon it. Much to my surprise, she did! I guided her to an open window and out she flew. My studio felt "magicked" for weeks after that.

From one of my all time favorite musicals.

Straight outta the cosmic artichoke...

I've noticed that crows have huge mastery around discernment and also connecting multidimensionally to "the big picture".  When a crow comes into my life I take it as a sign to honor something I was not seeing as a treasure.  This could be a personal skill that I have under-acknowledged/under-loved because I thought it was too mundane, or too easy, or too scary, or...whatever. Own it! Also, it could mean that I'm needing to look for the treasure in a challenging or overwhelming situation.😁😜🙏💖. Yay crows!

Gettin' cosmic.  And a bit hungry.

Current mood:focused intently on blooming.

Yep.  I'm continually amazed at how I alternate between becoming an outrageously expansive, connected, inspired being, and a semi-lovable, foible-prone, old clown😃.  Though occasionally these traits integrate in fun bursts of creative abandon.  That's where the art and magic happens baby.  Wheeee!

Self explanatory.

Some coyote magic and your inner child says hello...

Sparkly buried treasure.

We are resolute.

Humor resides at the confluence of "everything is sacred and nothing is sacred" :).  Anyone else noticing that humor is one of your alchemical super powers in these topsy-turvy trickster-y times?  Btw,I did this drawing from a picture in The Oregonian taken years ago when a coyote managed to hop aboard "The Max" mass transit train and hitch a ride across town.
